auto vacuum restart

Hi,

how do we stop and restart auto vacuum which is running long long time,

Hi Sridhar,

You can kill the autovacuum process like any other Postgres process but it will restart most likely.
Hence, you may want to check why the autovacuum is running for so long. And how much percentage has completed giving an idea of how much longer it will run?
